About St Michael's Church of England Primary School
St Michael’s Church of England Primary School is a happy, vibrant, village school where children, staff and parents feel valued and work together as partners. We pride ourselves on our family ethos, and through an effective home and school link we aim to ensure that a child’s time with us is successful and happy.
Our vision statement is
‘Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, whatever you believe, we welcome you into our loving, learning community”.
We aim to develop this approach and create an environment in which all children will flourish. We want the children to care and show respect for each other, embracing our Christian values of love, joy, wisdom, kindness, peace, self-control, faithfulness and trust. The whole school community is proud of our Christian values which underpin our inclusive ethos, contributing effectively to community cohesion throughout school.
Children are at the heart of everything we do and we have high aspirations for all our pupils whatever their backgrounds or starting points. We work tirelessly and holistically to improve outcomes for every child and ensure that they are well prepared for their next stage of education.
