About St Michael's CofE Primary School

At St Michael’s we have tasked ourselves with the responsibility of creating ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’. We believe that our curriculum encompasses all that the children need to become happy, confident outstanding pillars of the community. As adults, we lead by example and demonstrate a working environment where the children see positive working relationships, collaboration between staff and shared vision.

Our curriculum is relevant and purposeful; whilst focusing on all aspects of the national curriculum, we strive to ensure that children feel valued and celebrated by what they are taught. Our Christian ethos runs through our curriculum with teachings from the church underpinning all aspects and explorations of different beliefs and religions. Our motto ‘Seek Joy in Service’ lends itself to teaching our children the importance of contributing to the wider community. St Michael’s Church and Father Stephen are very much part of our extended family and all who join us are welcome there regardless of faith, religion or background.

As a school we offer a wonderfully green site in Enfield, which provides a great setting for your children to have excellent indoor and outdoor experiences. The local amenities also allow us to take advantage of further outdoor learning opportunities.

We give children the space to feel safe and confident and pride ourselves on exploring the wider curriculum with residentials, performances and experiences that focus on ‘the whole child.’
