About St Peter's Church of England Controlled Primary School and Nursery

St Peter’s is a rural Church of England primary school with a nursery at the heart of the village of Edgmond. We are proud of our theologically rooted Christian vision, motto 'Let your light shine' (Matthew 5:16), and our values which guide every aspect of school life. We are ambitious for our pupils, committed to high standards of education and inclusive pastoral care, and deeply connected with our church, families, and local community. The school has been graded Outstanding by Ofsted in December 2024 and have recently been inspected by SIAMS with the outcome due to be published. We continue to build on strengths in attendance, parental engagement, curriculum, and collective worship.
