About St Peter's Church of England Primary School

The Headteacher and Governors of St. Peter’s Church of England Primary School and Peter Hills Primary School are looking to appoint creative and highly motivated teachers who will enhance the life of our successful and warm-hearted schools.

St. Peter’s and Peter Hills are inclusive and diverse one form entry schools full of lively children who love to learn. Teaching and learning is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring that children achieve excellence, enjoy their time at school and develop into confident, resilient and independent learners.

St Peter’s is very close to Elephant & Castle. This makes commuting easy from across London by bus, train and tube.
Peter Hills is based in Rotherhithe, with good transport links to the overground and Jubilee line, there is also onsite parking. We are looking to recruit to both schools. Staff within the Partnership sometimes work across the three schools, depending on the need. This structure ensures that quality staff are retained and further opportunities for career progression are possible.

We can offer:
An innovative approach and a can-do attitude - we believe there is no hierarchy of ideas
Trust in your expertise - we do not micro-manage
An enthusiastic, collaborative and supportive staff team from three schools.
Children who care and value each other
A calm, caring and purposeful environment based on Christian Values and principles
CPD and Training support from the Diocesan Board of Education and Local Authority
