St Teresa’s is a caring community that keeps the message of Jesus alive in our actions and attitudes. We
believe firmly in our school values, created by our children and inspired by the Gospel: “Love, Accept, Respect and Reflect.” Children are cared for, nurtured and inspired to grow within our setting. We hold ourselves to an extremely high standard, understanding that the community that we serve deserve the highest quality education, Christian role models and curriculum tailored to cater to the needs of our students. We are fortunate enough to serve an extremely diverse and rich community of students and parents. Our school has been on an exceptional journey over the past ten years. The previous headteacher, current serving deputy and team of teachers have taken St Teresa’s from strength to strength creating a setting where behaviour is good, teaching and learning is of a high standard and both attainment and progress are exceptional. We are now beginning a new chapter. Our previous headteacher has
progressed to pursue a career as a CSEL at another Catholic MAT and our deputy headteacher is retiring at the end of this academic year. The current headteacher, promoted from within the staff, has been in
post since January and is now developing a new SLT to lead the school into the next era, continually driving to maintain these high standards whilst improving outcomes for all. St. Teresa’s has had two successive good Ofsted inspections since joining the Christus Catholic Trust. In
our most recent Catholic School Inspection, we were graded good overall. We are proud members of the Christus Catholic Trust, through which we collaborate with five other local Catholic schools and support one another through CPD, peer reviews, the sharing of resources,
moderation and a multitude of ever increasing ways. It is an exciting time to be a member of this trust as school leaders are being called upon to be active drivers in the process of shaping what our joint vision
for the future of our trust will be and we are inviting other schools to join us and help us grow.
