About St Wilfrid's Academy, Doncaster

The academy is an alternative provision school that supports students from Delta Academies and Doncaster Local Authority schools across Key Stage 2 to 4. The academy provides full and part-time education for children and young people, who for a variety of reasons, are unable to access mainstream education. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and secure environment which fosters ambition and develops lively and enquiring minds and ensures high aspirations and achievements in all members of our community. Learning is at the heart of everything we do. Our curriculum consists of a diverse range of activities, carefully selected to promote educational achievement, life skills and independence. All children and young people will have a bespoke programme of learning which will provide them with the appropriate knowledge, skills and qualifications they need to make progress in education and to successfully move forward into future employment and their chosen careers. As an inclusive organisation we promote courtesy, co-operation, enterprise and initiative as well as a strong sense of social responsibility and community.
