About St Winefride's Catholic Primary School

Situated in Little Neston, just outside the historic market town of Neston, we are proud to provide education for children from four to eleven years old.

At St. Winefride's, we hold Christian values at the very heart of our school ethos and pride ourselves on our family atmosphere and nurturing environment. We strive to discover the unique gifts and talents of each child in our care, providing rich opportunities for growth and development academically, socially and spiritually. We aim for every child to reach their full potential and be inspired with a love of life and learning.

In Reception we encourage and nurture the potential of each individual and this approach continues throughout the school to Year Six. By the time our pupils leave, they have engaged in a wealth of learning experiences; they are equipped to face new challenges; and we hope that they have developed skills and values that will last them a lifetime. Our intent is to support our children to become excellent at communicating whether this be through reading, writing, speaking and listening and the arts.

Our school is a caring community where all pupils are taught to be respectful, kind and considerate. Honesty and open-ness are expected, as is a good work ethic, perseverance and resilience.
