About Stoke St Gregory Church of England Primary School
Stoke St Gregory Church of England Primary School was established in 1857 by Reverend Watson Moor, the then Vicar of the parish, and now serves as a co-educational day school for children aged 4-11. Presently, there are 61 students enrolled, with a maximum capacity of 77 pupils. The school, holding Voluntary Controlled status, includes representation from the Church of England on the Governing Body through three Foundation Governors, one being Ex-Officio. Additionally, the school maintains strong ties with the C of E Church and the Baptist Church in the local community.
Operating as an Academy school, it is a member of The Oak Partnership Trust, established in 2019 as a local collaboration of primary and special schools.
The school is organized into 3 classes:
Class Otter: Early Years Foundation Stage, Year 1, and Year 2
Class Kingfisher: Year 3 and Year 4
Class Raven: Year 5 and Year 6
A dedicated team of Teaching Assistants supports classroom learning, and an independent pre-school on the premises offers wrap-around care and holiday clubs throughout the week.
