About Tarka Learning Partnership

The Tarka Learning Partnership is an 8-school Multi-Academy Trust, with responsibility for a primary SCITT, centred in Barnstaple and working with other partners to develop outcomes for young people in North Devon.
The trust vision is “Together Empowering Aspiration and Learning in North Devon”. Our aim is to raise standards through an inspiring and relevant curriculum delivered across our primary and secondary schools through expert teaching and support, in a vulnerable geographical area.

We encourage each school to establish its own identity while maintaining the high expectations and standards set by the trust. We foster collaborative working and sharing of best practice across all our schools and the continued development of strong networks and partnerships within Devon and nationally is a key strategy for our future development.
