About The Camden School for Girls

Camden School for Girls is a highly successful and oversubscribed inner London comprehensive secondary school with a rich historical heritage. The school was founded in 1871 by Frances Mary Buss, a pioneer for women’s education and the school has a long-standing history of ambition and excellence for all pupils regardless of background. We have a warm, welcoming and supportive ethos and aspire to excellence in all areas of the school provision. We have a strong sense of community and we foster an environment where everyone feels valued. We have been identified five times by government ministers as one of the top 100 schools in the country and Parent Power 2023 ranks the school as 6th best of all comprehensive schools in London.
