About The Coppice School

The Coppice School is a truly special place to work and our pupils are at the heart of everything we do here. We meet the wide range of special educational needs for learners aged 2-19 years and all our pupils have statements or Education Health Care Plans. We currently have 66 pupils on roll and take pride in the fact that we know our individual pupils and families well. Our most recent reassessment for the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) stated that;

“Provision for parents and their child is bespoke, very much recognising the individual needs of the pupils and their families.” (July 2023)

Our aim is to ensure that through fun and stimulating activities we Learn, Enjoy and Achieve. We are proud of the school’s dedicated and highly motivated staff team who are passionate about providing the best possible opportunities for children to thrive and develop their independence. We work in partnership with parents, therapy staff, social care and other agencies to ensure the best possible provision for our learners.
