About The Heys School

The Heys School is a smaller than average 11-16 mixed comprehensive school. This allows us to provide aligned and
differentiated support as we strive to provide the highest standards for students and staff alike. Our core values of

The Heys School stands at the centre of our community and we embrace the opportunity to offer our young people

We aim to create and maintain a safe learning environment where our students feel safe, secure and valued and know they will be listened to and taken seriously. The four strands of safeguarding are embedded into school life.
Staff receive regular guidance to ensure that they are confident and capable in recognising the signs of harm and take prompt and effective action to address this.
We place strong emphasis on student well-being and provide support for our students around mental health in a range of ways in order to meet the needs of students holistically and on an individual basis
