About The Woodroffe School

The Woodroffe School is a wonderful place to work alongside professionals who are passionate about teaching and learning, and where students thrive both inside and out of the classroom.

As a Local Authority 11-18 state secondary school we are also in the fortunate position of being able to maintain our commitment to promoting teacher professionalism and autonomy. We know that if we are to genuinely meet need, teachers need to be in the driving seat for planning, and implementation centralised, top-down approaches just won’t cut it.
