About Thornbury Primary School

Thornbury is a happy, thriving school, with a rich curriculum and a commitment to wellbeing as a school community, ad have been shortlisted for the TES national award for wellbeing. We have wonderful children who are ready to learn, behave well, and have good relationships with each other and staff. We also host the Speech and Language specialist provision for the city.

We are part of Connect Academy Trust which is currently a family of 8 large primary schools, with five schools based in Plymouth and three schools in Torbay.
