About Upton Cross Academy

Our small school is positioned in the heart of Upton Cross village, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. We are surrounded by a wealth of mining history, farming, and glorious countryside including the historic Hurlers Stone Circles.

Learning outdoors is what our children thrive on, and we have an amazing 'Forest School' and beautiful grounds where our children can flourish in their learning both in and through the environment. Our curriculum is rigorous but exciting, ensuring that all our children are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful at secondary school and beyond, and living up to our school motto of ‘inspiring and achieving success for all’.

At Upton Cross Academy we aim to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment, whereby all members of the school community are enabled and encouraged to meet their full potential.
