About Weston Rhyn Primary School

Weston Rhyn is situated between Oswestry and Chirk, on the Shropshire/North Wales border. Children who live in Chirk Bank, Rhosweil, Bronygarth and other surrounding villages and towns also attend the school .

Weston Rhyn opened as an 'all-age' school in 1924, the buildings have been subjected to various improvements including the addition of practical areas and an extended hall. There are six main classrooms, hall, library area, resources room and a playing field which is situated across the road from the school.

The school is organised into Nursery (mornings only), Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and mixed age classes from Year 3 through to Year 6.
