About Worth Primary School

Worth Primary School is a Single Academy Trust based within the thriving town of Poynton in East Cheshire. A single form entry school providing primary education for pupils from the ages of 4-11 years. The school is popular and well-regarded in the local community. We are proud of our history and excited about our future. 

We are a warm, welcoming community where children feel safe to take risks, ask questions and be curious. Our school is built on genuine relationships: we listen, we notice and we care. We believe that childhood should be joyful, full of experiences, and that learning should feel meaningful, exciting and full of possibility.


We put children at the heart of everything we do. We nurture character (through cool heads and warm hearts) as much as knowledge, helping pupils to grow into kind and caring individuals with a strong moral compass.
