What is the job role?- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the needs of all learners.
- Use assessment effectively to inform planning and target next steps in learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Key Stage 1 team and wider school community.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, trips, and enrichment opportunities.
We are looking for a creative and motivated teacher who:
- Has a strong knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Is able to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire and challenge pupils.
- Has an understanding of and a belief in continuous provision as a vehicle for teaching and learning.
- Is passionate about supporting pupils to make excellent progress, whatever their starting points.
- Demonstrates flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
