1:1 Teaching Assistant

Start date ASAP - Part time, Fixed term to 31.8.2026

13.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum (term time plus inset)

Grade 3 Point 4 £26,403 pro rata

Hours of work will be 1.00 - 3.15 Teaching Assistant role and 12.30 - 1.00 Midday Supervisor role.

The successful candidate will be supporting a pupil currently in KS1. Experience of working in a primary school and in a 1:1 role is preferable. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a positive and sensitive approach that puts the needs of the child first, strong interpersonal skills, ability to show initiative and a clear understanding of the ways in which children learn successfully. An ability to show experience of behaviour modelling and behaviour management strategies would also be an advantage.
