We are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and friendly one to one Teaching Assistants. Supporting children with specific learning needs on a one-to-one and small group basis.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can develop confidence and self-esteem but also establish clear boundaries
- Is experienced in working with children who have special educational needs Has a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting children’s needs, with a resilient mind-set.
- Can demonstrate good communication, listening, and questioning skills
- Is committed to inclusion
- Is able to promote high standards of behaviour through positive language and attitudes
- Has the ability to remain calm under all circumstances
- Is willing and able to work collaboratively and flexibly with staff, parents/carers and other agencies as required.
The roles will involve supporting children who have specific needs.

This is a term time post of 29.17 hours per week. Term time only + 3 inset days (38 weeks per annum which is the equivalent of 43.3167 paid weeks per year). Monday to Friday 8:35 to 15:15 The salary scale is Grade 14 on the School Support Staff Pay Scale (£9.99-£10.39 per hour). This represents an actual starting salary of £12,622 per annum. Fixed term basis while pupil remains at Wellesley Park.
