What skills and experience we're looking for

Brymore is a State Boarding School for boys aged 11 - 17 set in its own 60-acre site with a working farm, gardens, workshops and sports facilities which are fully utilised in the delivery of the curriculum to over 320 students of which 130 are boarders.

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work closely with some of our students on a 1-1 basis to support their learning, assist with classroom activities and help implement their personal EHCP.

This role is on a fixed term basis until July 2025.

The primary role of the teaching assistant is to work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.

The ideal candidate for this role will want to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your position within these.
