What skills and experience we're looking for
This is not just another school role—it is an opportunity to shape outcomes and change trajectories for young people.
As Academic Intervention Manager, you will lead a vital area of the school’s work, identifying where students are struggling and putting the right support in place to help them succeed. You will work alongside senior leaders, teachers and families to ensure that every intervention is purposeful, targeted and impactful.
You will also lead and develop a dedicated team, oversee intervention programmes, and ensure that every action taken is focused on helping students build confidence, improve progress and achieve their potential.
We are looking for someone who is driven by impact—someone who believes that every student can succeed with the right support and is determined to make that happen.
You will bring:
- The confidence to lead and inspire others, with the ability to motivate a team and drive meaningful change
- Excellent communication skills, building strong, purposeful relationships with students, families and colleagues
- A natural ability to spot barriers to learning and take action, using initiative and sound judgement
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing focus on what matters
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset, with the resilience to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Experience working with young people and a genuine understanding of how to help them succeed academically
- Confidence in using data and systems to track progress and evaluate impact

- A strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and work–life balance, because we know this matters
- The chance to work within a forward-thinking, evidence-informed school with a proven track record of success
- A vibrant school culture built around our ethos: Believe. Strive. Achieve.
