Welcome to The Ferns Primary Academy!

We’re a small primary school located in the heart of the Fernhill community in Farnborough, Hampshire. We are single form entry which means just one class per year group of learners aged between 4 and 11 (Reception to Year 6). The great thing about that is we get to know each other really well and that has helped us become the caring, nurturing community that we are. We became a Kite Academy in June of 2019 and are very excited about the many benefits this brings our school.

At The Ferns, we are a family of learners, working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children in our care. We believe learning should be fun so work hard to provide an inspiring, engaging curriculum. But, above all, we offer a supportive, encouraging environment that values effort and recognises that it is the learning journey, not just the final destination that is important. Personal and social development is recognised, valued and celebrated as much as academic achievement.

We’re very proud of our wonderful school and would love to share with you the great things that we do.
