Primary Academy Manager
Are you an organised, proactive and highly motivated professional with experience in school or business operations? We are seeking an exceptional Primary Academy Manager to play a key role in the leadership and day-to-day management of our academy.
Working closely with the Principal, an established school office team and regional support members, you will lead the academy's operational functions, ensuring the smooth running of administration, facilities, health and safety, governance and business support services. You will also manage office and site-based staff, helping to create an efficient, safe and welcoming environment where pupils and staff can thrive.
About the Role
As Primary Academy Manager, you will:
- Lead the academy's administrative and operational services.
- Manage facilities, premises, maintenance and health & safety compliance.
- Line manage administration, site and non-educational support staff.
- Oversee HR administration, recruitment and personnel processes.
- Manage and oversee school systems, admissions, attendance, statutory returns and financial administration.
- Support governance arrangements and compliance, including safeguarding records.
- Work collaboratively with the Principal to drive continuous improvement across academy operations.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in office, business or operations management, ideally within an educational setting.
- Has excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Has a strong understanding of health & safety, compliance and administrative systems.
- Is confident using IT systems and managing data accurately.
- Is committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
