Achievement Assistant - Mainstream Autism Base job summary

We are looking for a skilful and caring TA to join our team of hard working, committed staff, working within the Mainstream Autism Base

School: Oldbury Park Primary School, Worcester

Start date: TBC depending on period of notice required

Salary scale: £24,413 FTE (Scale 1 point 2) pro rata

Contract type: Temporary, term time only + INSET (1 year with possibility of extension)

Hours per week: Full time 8:30am - 3.30pm (0.5 hours lunch)

The ideal candidate will be:

Confident creating and maintaining positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons in a variety of subjects (with support where needed)

Supportive of our school ethos and the wider aims of the Central Region Schools Trust

Able to work well as part of a team

Protected time weekly to plan and prepare lessons

This important role will involve working 1:1 and with small groups in both the Mainstream Autism Base and the mainstream school. This is an interesting and rewarding post for the right candidate. Applicants may be experienced Teaching Assistants looking for further opportunity or someone looking for a carer change.
