Are you looking for an admin role in an education setting?

We are recruiting an experienced Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly admin team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and diligent candidate providing a high standard of administrative support and will assist the Office Manager in ensuring efficiency within the School Office. You will be a proactive team player who will undertake general office duties including filing, parent communications, photocopying and scanning.

Our Administrative Assistant / Receptionist will;

  • Act as first point of contact for parents/carers, visitors, staff and external agencies helping to deliver excellent customer service
  • Managing communications between the school, parents/carers through letters, website and other platforms
  • Maintain information systems, databases and other associated records and produce data for reporting purposes

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm About You:

  • Previous administration and reception experience ideally within a busy office or school environment is desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office with confidence learning new systems
  • Knowledge of using Arbor would be advantageous
  • A positive, flexible and professional approach with the commitment to excellent customer service
  • Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information
