Job Title: Administration Assistant Level 1 - Attendance
Actual Annual Salary: £13,207 - £14,396 Based on hours and working weeks
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,941 - £28,275 (CLF Grade B) Based on Full Time hours, All Year Round.
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2027
Hours: 22 hours per week, Term Time Only (plus INSET Days)
Additional Information: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 1pm, Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm

An exciting opportunity for an Administrator to gain further skills
We are looking for an Attendance Administrator to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Brunel Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
Under the guidance of the Attendance Officer, you will provide high quality administrative, clerical and organisational support to the Attendance and Year Teams. Key aspects of the role will include:
- Checking accurate attendance register completion, identifying areas of concern and following up with teachers and Year Teams to ensure safeguarding of all students
- Updating registers with attendance codes
- Ensuring messages left on the attendance line are accurately recorded and followed up with parents/carers and Year Teams where necessary
- Supporting the Attendance Officer with arranging attendance meetings and home visits
- Supporting the Attendance Officer with completion of paperwork for submission of warning letters and penalty notices
