Office Assistant job summary

Wyndham Park Infants’ School is a mainstream infants with 270 pupils between the ages of 4-7 and next door, on the same campus is St Mark’s CofE School, a mainstream junior school for pupils aged 7-11 years. Both schools have a SEND resource base.

We are seeking to appoint two Administration Assistants, one for each school to support our busy Office Manager who oversees both sites, with excellent administration experience, preferably familiar with working in a school or similar environment with a broad understanding of delivering great customer service and working in a busy administrative team. Within our schools we are committed to the education and wellbeing of each and every child, and we take pride in the schools’ positive and caring culture. You will be a fundamental part of our wider team across two schools and also part of the community you'll serve with a smile.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong ICT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft/Word/Excel
  • Has strong customer service front facing experience.
  • Is a good record keeper
  • Is able to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Fantastic experience in managing multiple workstreams and organising own workload
  • Is an excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Has a flexible approach to their role
  • Able to take minutes and follow up at meetings
