Our DoWAT central team consists of the CEO & Executive team, Company Secretary, Finance team, Project & Administration team, and SEND Team.

You will be supporting the provision of administrative and project support within our trust operational and education functions.

Ideal candidate:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, well organised, and reliable Administrative Assistant to support a range of administrative and project tasks related to trust operations. Examples include but are not limited to: Communications & Marketing, Governance, HR, IT, Estates, Health & Safety, Growth and Professionalising DoWAT. The role also involves providing dedicated support to the Director of Primary Education and SEND Team with a range of administrative tasks.

Previous experience in a similar role providing high quality support would be desirable.

You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, excellent administrative skills, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. You will be a team player with the ability to build relationships across the business. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adept at multi-tasking, have a flexible can-do attitude and will be willing to take on various ad-hoc tasks as required.

You will be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, whilst managing a diverse, demanding workload. You will be able to work across different tasks and projects at the same time. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to play a significant role in the development of Trust Operations and to develop their own skill set and career path.

Job Description

  • Support with administration duties and projects relating to the Trust’s operational functions of Communications & Marketing, Governance, HR, IT, Estates, Health & Safety, Growth and Professionalising DoWAT.
  • Prepare, collate and analyse documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Diary management, assistance, and admin support to key members of the central team.
  • Coordinate meetings, school and supplier visits.
  • Create engaging content and coordinate the rollout of Trust communications via various channels (for example, social media, website, newsletters, webinars, and surveys).
  • Liaise with schools and collate school reporting information.
  • The post holder must be committed to their own professional development.

DoWAT is a Catholic Multi-Academy Trust. While there is no requirement for the post holder to be Catholic, all employees must support the Catholic aims and ethos of the Trust.

The post holder may need to visit DoWAT schools, therefore an element of travel is likely to be required within the role.
