Administration Assistant / Receptionist

The Role (a.k.a. The Heartbeat of the School!)

Are you the kind of person who can greet visitors with a smile, tame ringing phones like a pro, and organise chaos into calm… all before your second cup of tea? ☕

We’re on the lookout for a **super-organised, people-loving, multitasking wizard** to become the face (and voice) of University Collegiate School.

What You’ll Be Doing (Your Superpowers in Action):

- Welcoming students, staff, parents, and visitors with warmth and professionalism

- Managing a busy reception desk (phones, emails, enquiries… you name it!)

- Keeping admin tasks ticking along like a perfectly oiled machine

- Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day operations

- Being the go-to person for *“Where do I go?”* and *“Can you help?”* moments

What We’re Looking For:

- A natural people person with a friendly, confident manner

- Organised, detail-loving and able to juggle tasks without dropping the ball

- Calm under pressure (even when the bell rings and everything happens at once!)

- Strong IT and communication skills

- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Bonus points if you bring a sense of humour and a love of a lively school environment!

Why Join Us?

At University Collegiate School, no two days are the same - and that’s exactly how we like it!

You’ll be part of a supportive team in a vibrant school community where your role truly matters. Plus, there’s always something happening (and plenty of tea opportunities… essential!). ☕😄

  • An additional day of leave - a wellness day to focus on your wellbeing
  • Cycle to work scheme and family friendly policies
  • Local Government Pension Scheme
  • A supportive, forward-thinking school community
  • Students who will surprise, challenge, and occasionally confuse you (in a good way)
  • Opportunities to innovate and bring your weird and wonderful ideas to life
  • Tea. Lots of tea. Possibly biscuits.

👉 Apply today and bring your energy, personality and admin magic to UCS Bolton.

✨ *Because every great school needs an amazing first impression - and that starts with YOU.* ✨
