What skills and experience we're looking for

Governors are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to delivering a high standard of administrative support as part of a busy team.

The successful candidate will need to possess excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills and have good keyboard and IT core skills. An up-to-date knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Arbor are strongly desirable. The ability to work accurately and under pressure, while managing a varied workload and meeting the ever changing needs of the school environment is essential. You will need to be proactive and able to work on your own initiative, whilst being part of a wider team under the leadership of the Office Manager.

Main duties will consist of:

  • Delivering an outstanding service to our parents, students and visitors on a daily basis
  • Providing support with the day to day administration duties required as part of the school routine
  • Assist in duties such as reception cover, admissions and other creative tasks such as the weekly school newsletter.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have the flexibility to adapt to the changing environment
  • Experience in school systems such as Arbor will be advantageous
