Administration Assistant job summary
Are you a highly organised and efficient individual looking to make a positive impact in a school setting? Are you an experienced School Administrator looking for a new opportunity? St James' is delighted to present a fantastic position at a well-regarded Primary school within the Bedford area. We are seeking a dedicated and proficient individual to join the school's administrative team and contribute to its ongoing success.
As an administrative assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing effective and efficient administrative support to the school office, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to interact with staff, pupils, families and visitors, and work within a supportive friendly team.
The ideal candidate will:

Have excellent written and communication skills
Show initiative and independence while working collaboratively
Proficient in using IT systems and software packages, and emails
Ability to work efficiently and constructively within a small team
Be proactive and proficient in administrative tasks
Experience of the education sector - desirable
Willingness to undergo training, embrace lifelong learning and be eager to gain new experiences
Kind and flexible team player.
