Administration Assistant job summary

St Nicholas School is an academy special school, situated in Southend-on-Sea, which is part of the SEN Trust Southend. The school offers a quality, inclusive education for secondary aged students (11-16). Our students all have a range of learning needs and enter the school with a statement of Educational Needs, or an Educational Health & Care Plan.

It is our aim to encourage every student to achieve their full potential, to become an independent adult and an active member of their local community, relative to their ability.

We are looking to appoint an Administration Assistant to start as soon as possible.

Job title: Administration Assistant

Salary Range: Level 5, Points 8 - 12

Hours per week: 37 hours per week

Contract type: Part time, 39 wks/yr plus holiday entitlement (Actual Salary: £23,458- 25,009p.a)

Reporting to: Headteacher

You will be required to fulfill all the responsibilities of the attached job description.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience of working in a school office and who will be the right fit with our excellent staff team.
