Fundraising & Marketing Officer job summary

Join our dynamic and growing Multi-Academy Trust as a key member of our central team. We’re looking for a driven and creative Fundraising & Marketing Officer. We are a friendly team with our HQ office based in Rayleigh Primary School.

If you are looking for a busy role within a team that supports and grows together, then apply today:

Applications Close: Monday 13th July

Date of Interviews: Tuesday 21st July

Are you someone who loves turning ideas into impact?

Do you get a buzz from spotting opportunities, building relationships and bringing in funding that make a real difference to children’s lives?

We are looking for a driven, creative and purpose-led professional to help grow our Trust’s reach,

reputation and resources. This is not a routine office role. It is a chance to shape how a values-led

Education charity sustains and expands its work in local communities.

You will work at the heart of our central team, leading initiatives that increase charitable

income, strengthen pupil recruitment, secure grant funding and raise the public profile of our

schools. You will also help us explore new, ethical ways to generate income that directly

supports better opportunities for children.

This role suits someone who is:

  • Commercially minded but values-driven

  • Confident in building relationships with partners, supporters and community organisations

  • A strong writer who can turn a good idea into a compelling bid or campaign

  • Energised by targets and motivated by social impact rather than profit

We are a charitable Trust, and this post is designed to become self-sustaining. That means we

are looking for someone who is excited by the challenge of generating income and measurable

growth that covers and exceeds the cost of the role.

In return, you will have real autonomy, the chance to shape strategy, and the satisfaction of seeing your work translate into tangible benefits for children and schools.

What you’ll get

  • A private health cash plan

  • Generous paid annual leave

  • Generous Pension

  • The chance to work flexibly across schools and communities

  • A role with visible impact and senior-level influence

If you are entrepreneurial, persuasive, organised and motivated by making a difference rather

than just making money, we would love to hear from you.

We can offer you the opportunity to work with:

  • A forward thinking organisation that values innovation, inclusivity, and staff personal and professional growth

  • A Trust that values staff wellbeing

  • Highly committed and supportive colleagues

  • A supportive and friendly community

  • Outstanding, collaborative partnerships across our trust schools

  • Extensive CPD opportunities

  • Recognition of long service

  • Recognition of continuous service
