St Nicholas C of E Primary School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin Officer to play a key role in the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy and welcoming school. The role includes responsibility for payroll administration, recruitment and safer recruitment procedures, maintaining the Single Central Record, and supporting staffing arrangements. You will coordinate school communications, including newsletters, website updates and information for parents, staff and the wider community. The successful candidate will also manage financial administration, process invoices, monitor budgets and help secure value for money across school purchases and services. In addition, you will support admissions, educational visits, extracurricular activities, premises management and the coordination of external contractors and suppliers. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills who can confidently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous administrative experience is essential, and experience within a school setting would be advantageous. Most importantly, you will share our commitment to safeguarding, professionalism and delivering outstanding support to pupils, families and colleagues.
