Administrative Assistant
Location: Challney High School for Boys
Contract Type: Permanent, Term time plus five training days
Hours of work: 25 hours per week. The working day will start at 11:30am and finish at 4:30pm.
Salary: L3 - Actual salary starting from £15,195 per annum

Challney High School for Boys is a successful and inclusive school with outstanding facilities, friendly staff and has a supportive environment.
We are seeking an Administration Assistant to support the efficient running of our school office and main reception.
This front-facing role will provide support to the School Manager by ensuring day-to-day administration tasks are carried out accurately and confidently.
Candidates should be adept and confident in multi-tasking within a busy office environment and enjoy working with a variety of the school stakeholders such as parents, colleagues and external visitors.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working in a school or office environment
- Have an ability to work on their own initiative
- Have a flexible approach
- Work well as part of a team
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
A good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google is essential together with sound spoken and written English and a professional telephone manner.
A working knowledge of Bromcom would be advantageous.
Purpose of the post
To undertake a range of administrative, secretarial and clerical duties which support the provision of high quality administrative services to the school.
