What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appointment an Administrative Officer to support various departments and areas within school. The successful applicant will be based mainly within the front office, but will support the careers advisor, Duke of Edinburgh Award team, teachers running school trips, as well as other curriculum areas and staff as required. Responsibilities will include data entry, communication with parents, colleagues and students, and collating information.

You may be required to work without direct supervision, and so it is crucial that you are able to use your own initiative and be responsible for organising your own workload.

We require:

  • A clear and confident communicator.
  • A team player who is happy to support different colleagues as required.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a school environment would be an advantage.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
