To help us with this, we are looking to appoint a passionate and inspiring Administration Support Officer to join our supportive Sixth Form Team at The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an integral part of the Sixth Form team and help maintain a brilliant community where students flourish
  • Provide efficient, professional secretarial, and administrative support to the Sixth Form Team, including Sixth Form tutors.
  • Receive and deal with enquiries from parents, staff, students, governors and outside agencies
  • Support students and parents by communicating with them regarding a range of matters such as attendance, punctuality and wellbeing.
  • Support with student recruitment and results days
  • Help monitor information and data to support the Head of Sixth Form
  • Help arrange and be involved with a range of exciting events and activities in the Sixth form

The successful candidate will become part of an oversubscribed, successful girls’ school for 11 to 18 year-olds, with an ethos rooted in female empowerment, and dedicated colleagues who strive for excellence. The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls is a non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for girls aged between 11 and 18. It is located in Romford in the borough of Havering, London. The number of pupils is approximately 1,300.

The school was established in 1906 by Frances Bardsley with the aim of providing free education to the local girls. Formerly across two different sites until 2003, it became The Frances Bardsley School for Girls in 1972 and converted to academy status in 2012.
