The Role:
Stanwick Primary School are looking to recruit an Administrator to join the team. You need to be patient, hard-working and have high expectations for yourself and those that you work with to provide the best possible environment for our community. The post holder’s prime duties would include liaising with our HR and finance teams, managing the office systems and setting up trips and payments in the school. This role will work alongside our current administrator, supporting with cover of the front office, as well as some of the general office tasks such as answering the phones, communicating with parents and interacting with the pupils.
Key Tasks:
Update manual and computerised record/information systems
Assist with managing the school’s email inbox, ensuring the school meets its expected response times and emails are forwarded to the relevant staff member as necessary
Liaise with the Trust HR and finance teams, providing purchase orders and relevant paperwork sent between the school and the teams.
Support in the organisation of school trips, liaising with coach companies and trip locations.
Manage and organise completed forms from parents/carers
Report any issues with the school’s IT systems
Provide administrative support to staff as needed
Record and monitor staff absence in our systems
About You:
GCSE grade C in English and mathematics (or equivalent)
Experience in carrying out administrative tasks
Good oral and written communications skills
Commitment to promoting the ethos and values of the school and getting the best outcomes for all pupils
Experience with dealing with face-to-face and telephone interactions
