What skills and experience we're looking for

Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking for an admission and admin assistant to join their team. This role will be term time only, 39 weeks per year and on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2025, with the potential of becoming permanent. The working ours will be 08.30-16.00 Monday to Friday. The Admissions Officer will work alongside key school staff, parents/carers and the local authority to complete all admissions related procedures and promote pupil numbers. They will work with children and families for a smooth transition and adherence to school’s admission procedures. Main objectives of the post • Increase pupil numbers. • Promote admissions at Southborough Primary School. • To provide a reception service for all callers to the school. • To provide general administrative support. • Specific responsibilities include creation and maintenance of accurate and confidential records, and complying with data protection laws.
