Admissions & Administration Officer job summary

We are recruiting for an experienced, proactive and organised Admissions & Administration Officer to join our dedicated team of support.

The Role

This role works with our main office team. It has prime responsibility for school admissions and supports general administration.

Hours of work

38 weeks a year (inclusive of non-teaching days designated for professional duties) plus 8 additional days. This will include 4 days to be worked at the end of the summer holidays and one Saturday morning for the sports scholarship assessment.

24 hours per week Tuesday to Friday. Working hours are 8am to 2.20pm (which includes a 20minutes unpaid break)

The successful candidate will

  • Have experience of school admissions, preferably in a secondary school
  • Be friendly, approachable and efficient
  • Have strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and school systems such as Arbor

Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful comprehensive school for girls aged between 11 and 18. The school has expanded in recent years, is popular in the local community, and has a growing Sixth Form.
