Advanced Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a Advanced Teaching Assistant for 37 Hours per week, on a term time only basis to join our team at Barlby High School. This position is to work in both the main school building and our Targeted Mainstream Provision Unit.

The Advanced Teaching Assistant will have a passion for inclusive education and helping to develop a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed. This role is central to promoting positive wellbeing, involving the delivery of targeted interventions and emotional support to help overcome barriers to learning so all children can access classroom teaching. You will use your expertise to adapt support, develop independence and collaborate closely with teachers, our SENDCo and other senior leaders to ensure all pupils, including those with additional needs, can access a rich and engaging curriculum and thrive both academically and personally.
