Full time - Working hours: 8.20am to 3.15pm each day. Staff meeting until 3.45pm on Mondays.
Permanent – ATA Band 5

Can you bring the essential skills and qualities of an Early Years specialist Teaching Assistant to our Early Years Team to enable our children to have the best start to their education at Wheatcroft?
Our Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an Advanced Teaching Assistant to support in our Early Years Foundation Stage class. It is essential that applicants have an excellent working knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and practices. The successful applicant will enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. The post will include working with groups of children in the outside area or in the classroom.
The role will require the following:
• experience of working in an Early Years setting, either Primary school or Nursery
• a clear understanding of appropriate professional relationships and protocols, when working with pupils and parents
• an ability to work as a team, alongside the Class Teacher and other Teaching Assistants
