As part of the Delta Education Trust, Delta Bespoke manages and runs a series of Outdoor Education Centres for young people who struggle to learn in the classroom. Our vision, Happiness in the Pursuit of Learning embodies our passion for creating learning and educational opportunities for students who find being in school difficult.
Are you an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the outdoors and can bring this vision to life. Making a real difference to the lives and future prospects of our young people, if so, then this role is for you.
The role:
Your role within Delta Bespoke’s Adventure Learning team will be to teach a variety of students that are hard to place or out of education in a mainstream setting. We endeavour to help our learners to feel they matter and belong, enabling them to improve their social, emotional and academic skills to be the best that they can be.
Our Adventure Learning centre provides an outdoor education curriculum for a wide age range. Based in Poole, Dorset, the centre’s location provides us with a wide range of excellent nearby locations for climbing, coasteering, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, mountain biking and more.
The role will involve planning and developing ‘out-of-the-classroom’ learning opportunities, using a wide range of outdoor activities for all students. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing progress of their students.
About us:
We are an Alternative Provision school spread across 4 campuses; each catering to students with specific Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and/or medical needs. This means we think of our students as individuals and respond to their needs as such. Our aim for our students is for them to become knowledgeable, self-aware, independent and happy people who make a positive difference, wherever life takes them
About Delta:
At Delta, we really care about our pupils and their attitude towards learning. We pride ourselves on creating exciting learning environments and innovative curriculums suitable for all ages and abilities. With Delta Bespoke, pupils learn together to become knowledgeable, self-aware, independent and emotionally regulated. Creating students who are happy with themselves, brave enough to cope and confident enough to make positive decisions, wherever life takes them.
Delta Bespoke takes great care to recruit the very best people so that the services we provide are outstanding. We believe that the best work gets done in an environment that’s enjoyable and which values, supports and encourages the development of its employees. With that in mind, we support our staff in achieving all relevant outdoor qualifications needed.
