What skills and experience we're looking for

§ To assist in serving afternoon snacks to all pupils attending, and run activities for children, from 4yrs to 11yrs old.

§ To provide a secure, safe and stimulating environment for the children.

§ To be responsible for an appropriate level of supervision during the club.

§ To be responsible for the set-up of the club, prepare the children’s snacks and clear away, encouraging the involvement of the children, where appropriate.

§ To communicate with appropriate adults with reference to the children’s wellbeing.

§ To comply with school policies and procedures.

§ To undertake any other duties, as may be required, to reflect the changing needs and circumstances of After School Club at the school.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.

The successful applicant will be required to attend a first aid course, and the appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and references.
