After-School Club Assistant - St Leonard's CofE Primary School
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 13 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 2:45pm -6:00pm)
Salary: SC1 NJC point 2 Actual Salary £7,577 (FTE £25,614)
Term Time only: 38 weeks per annum
Annual Leave: Taken outside of term time and paid pro-rata throughout the year (no annual leave to be taken during term time)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Play Assistant to join our thriving After-School Club, that has over 100 children attend each evening. Your role will involve working under the direction of the ASC Manager to provide a fun, caring and secure environment for the pupils. You will join the team to design engaging activities, provide simple snacks and work to develop good working relationships with children and parents alike.
St Leonard's CofE Primary School currently has approximately 600 pupils, set on a large plot, the school benefits from large open spaces for children to engage with learning outdoors, whilst having plenty of space to enjoy break and lunch times with friends. The school has experienced continued growth and success and is proud to serve the community with links to the local church and charities. The staff at St Leonard's CofE Primary School are a positive, hard-working team, dedicated to being the ‘best that they can be’.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a calm and patient demeanour, who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children. You will have good interpersonal skills and a fun approach to inspiring children’s play.
We are also advertising for a Mealtime Assistant and applicants may like to consider applying for both roles and they would complement each other.
