Place of work: St Matthews CofE Primary & Nursery Academy, Peregrine Rd, Derriford, Plymouth, PL65FN
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 9 hours per week (3:30 pm - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday and 3pm - 5:45 Fridays.
Grade: SC Grade 1 SCP Range 3 £5,245 per annum (£25,614 per annum FTE)
Weeks per annum: 38 weeks per year

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated After-School Club Playworker to join our collaborative academy, who is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect.
As an After-School club playworker for St Matthew’s CofE Primary and Nursery Academy, your role will involve working under the direction of the supervisor to provide a caring and secure environment for the pupils who attend the after-school club. You will assist in developing engaging activities, and work to develop good working relationships with children and parents alike.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a calm and patient demeanour, who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children. You will have good interpersonal skills and a fun approach to inspiring children’s play.
