Role Overview:
As an After School Play Worker, you will ensure the smooth running of our After School Club provision, ensuring a safe, welcoming, fun and creative environment for our pupils. You will arrange activities for the children each day and will work closely with staff and pupils, promoting our school values of compassion, justice, forgiveness, selflessness, and generosity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up activities ready for children

  • Supervising pupils during breakfast and activities

  • Encouraging positive behaviour in line with school values

  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment

  • Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development in a calm and caring manner

Person Specification:

  • A commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school

  • Experience working with children is desirable but not essential

  • A friendly, patient, and approachable manner

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Reliable and punctual
