After School Club Supervisor job summary

We require enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated individuals to support our children during our After School Club provision. You should have experience of working with primary age children, be able to build great relationships with them, and use your initiative to organise activities and games. As well as arranging the day to staffing required to run the provision, the role also includes serving simple meals to the children, and being proactive in leading great wrap-around care for our children to start their day.

Hours: 3:15pm to 5:45pm Monday to Friday.

Key functions of the role will be:

Supervision of After School Club staff, organising and implementing duty and play rotas.

Arranging additional cover to ensure children are supervised under the correct ratio.

Arranging cover for sickness.

The ability to cultivate flourishing relationships with children, colleagues and families.

The drive to always want to make a difference.

Experience of working with children from a wide variety of backgrounds including those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged.

Enthusiasm and energy, and a passion for the role.

The ability to work cohesively and effectively within a wider team.

An interest in developing themselves further as professionals.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
