Afterschool Club Playworker job summary

We are looking to appoint a After School Club Playworkers to join our team at South Norwood Primary School, this positions is term time only for 39 weeks of the year working Monday to Friday between 15.00-18.00. The position involves working closely with the children to provide encouragement, friendship and supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To assist the manager in offering the children a wide range of play activities and ensuring that the club offers the children a relaxed, informed and caring environment.
  • To work under the guidance of the After-School Club Leader, Extended School Leader and Head Teacher to provide child care for pupils attending the After-School Club Engaging and interacting with pupil
  • Assist in the preparation of snacks, cleaning away and washing up when required.
  • To be responsible to a group of children as designated by the manager.
